Birthday Invite

Monday, August 1, 2011

Here is the final invitation!  I decided to change it up a bit and use three different styles of paper on the invitation base.

Which one is your favourite??

The invitation opens to show a super cute picture of the girls and on each side flap I printed off the birthday party details.  Taffeta ribbon is used to keep the card together and the "Look who's turning..." is stuck on to one side with a dimensional sticker.  Everything comes together using the 2010-2011 In Colors and the new Just Add Cake designer series paper!  I love the colour combinations!

To make this card you will need:

Stamp Set:  Look Who's Turning (114403)
Paper: Blushing Bride 8.5 x 11 cardstock (119796).  Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper (124339) NEW
Ink:  Concord Crush Classic Stampin Pad (119785)
Ribbon: Baja Breeze 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (122964) NEW
Tools:  Snail Adhesive (104332).  Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

  1. Got the birthday invite and it is AMAZING! Pulling it out of the envelope and seeing that delicate little ribbon to untie made me smile. Seeing the photo of the girls (with their Sask bunnyhugs on - yay) put an even bigger smile on my face! The invite is so personalized, so beautiful and so fun. Love it, love it, love it!!
