It's been such a long time since I last posted!  I've been busy trying to focus on my business locally and that has taken some time away from blogging but I've been missing the blog a lot!

The Retiring List has been released and there are some amazing stamps and accessories that are being discontinued...to make room for some amazing new stamps!  The Pocket Silhouettes stamp set is being discontinued as is the Lace Border Punch.  I just love that punch!  Make sure to pick it up before the end of May because it is only available while supplies last!  Click here to view the entire retiring list.

Tip: Using a darker accent colour, like Night of Navy on Bashful Blue adds a simple elegance to your card.

There is something very refreshing about the new In Colors and with names like Pool Party, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral, who could disagree?  :)  As you may have noticed... ever since the new In Colours have been released I have used them in my cards over and over again.  This Thank You card is no exception!  I used the new Lace Border Punch on Lucky Limeade paper to give the card a little more contrast.  The flowers were punched out using the Triple Flower punch.  I stuck them on using mini glue dots.  The glue dots ensure that they stick to the paper really well and give the flowers a little bit of dimension.

The "thank you for being you" sentiment comes from the Bold Blossom stamp set which is only available until August 31st, 2011!!!  I have used this set endless times and it is a steal of a deal at $11.95 for clear mount.
